The Year Of The Dog

This book tells me about this little girl called Pacy, she called her dad and he said to her Happy New Year!, Gong xi-gong xi! Xin-nian kuai le! (That means happy new year but in Chinese). They all had a big dinner too cause it was the year of the dog. 

The Fault In Our Stars

       The fault in our stars is a book about a boy called August and a girl called Hazel who have cancer and they meet each other at support group and fall in love. They also go to Netherlands to meet this author they really like.When they come back they detect that August has cancer all around his body and that he is going to die.

I think this book is really good as it has good detail and it has mixed emotions which makes it more interesting.

Wonder

Wonder is a book about a boy that has a deformed face and stayed a home for school and after a few years he goes to a proper school and meets new friends but soon a boy called Julian starts teasing him.  I think that his book good for children because is emotional. I like the book because I it was funny and emotional

Mr Stink by David Walliams

I chose to write about the book Mr Stink because I love David Walliams books, they are very funny, touching and interesting at the same time. Mr Stink is about a little girl who had many questions about one old tramp, and finally she builds up the courage to talk to him. One day she does something she knows her super posh and nasty mother would never let her do which changes her life forever. To find out what she does, read Mr Stink. 

The Summer That Changed Everything by Ann Brashares

Polly, Jo and Ama were best friends. For no real reason their friendship slowly started to fade, and now the girls are forced to spent a long summer holiday without seeing each other.

The Beano Annual-2000

This annual features many classic stories about fictional kids who live in a place called Beano, and cause mischief and mayhem everywhere. Many of the characters include: Dennis the Menace, The Bash Street Kids, Minnie the Minx, Rodger the Dodger and many more. This annual is definitely a funny one!

The Village by the Sea by Anita Desai

The author starts the book with one of the main characters going out to the sea to pray on a sacred rock. I think this shows that the book is quite calm and relaxing but it then goes on to the horrible life that people have to live in villages in India with poverty.
