King Of The Cloud Forests - Michael Murpurgo
~ King of the cloud forests ~
~ By Michael Morpurgo ~
The scene is set in China where young Ashley Anderson is forced to leave his beloved father to flee from the Japanese Invasion. Him and his Uncle set off across the Himalayas and have to try to survive the wilderness as best they possibly can.
During his adventure, Ashley experiences capture, pain and a mystery meeting with a group of strange individuals.
Do they turn out as bad as they might seem?
I would recommend this book for its great descriptions of nature and the wilderness. There is also a mystery to be solved, and will it be?
